Subject: New Kentucky Public Transit Website

I want to encourage each member to send information to Shirley Cummins or Pam Shepherd that you would like to go on the website. Please realize that the website will only be as good as we make it. We need you to send us your agency website or company website so that we can enter it on to our website.

Together we can make this one of the best association websites in the country.

Hyatt Regency, Lexington Convention Center

Door Prizes and Resources

As we have during past Kentucky Public Transit Conferences, this year, we will be giving away door prizes that are donated by those in attendance.  We are asking that you donate a door prize and bring items for the resource table for distribution at the conference.  Everyone who registers for the conference will have a chance to win.

DOOR PRIZES - The door prize from your agency should be one that follows the community transit tradition of a clear cellophane wrapped basket containing items replica of the area of your transit service or a framed print of local art with your business card or the company’s card attached.  To assist you with shopping or soliciting items from local businesses to fill the basket, we suggest that all baskets should be a minimum of $50 value.

Vendors and associates are also invited to participate by contributing a gift for giving at the conference.  The drawing will take place at your booth.  Join in the fun!

RESOURCES - The resource table has proven to be a helpful tool for sharing technology, marketing items, agency policies, training plans, transit forms and general information.  You may also display news articles, brochures and items you use in your marketing plans.  We hope to have every transit agency in Kentucky represented by information at the resource table.

Vendors and associates are also invited to participate by contributing items they regularly use in marketing services and can be given away at their booth or at the resource table.

During the conference, please bring your resources and door prize to KPTA's table located in the vendor's area.

If you have any questions, or we can be of any assistance, please call
