Regular meetings of the Directors are held bimonthly on or at such time and at such place as the Board of Directors may decide.
The President - Pam Shepherd is President of KPTA. The President will have the general supervision and management of the affairs of KPTA with the guidance, approval and cooperation of the Board of Directors. The President presides at all meetings of the Board of Directors, serve as an ex officio member of all committees and make the deciding vote when an action of the Board results in a tie. The President will give notice of all Board meetings called by the Board or by the President at least two (2) weeks before the time of the meeting. All members are welcome to attend.
The Vice-President - Shirley Cummins is the Vice President of KPTA. The Vice President will act in the absence or disability of the President during KPTA meetings. Currently, the Vice-President is keeping and updating the association's web site and overseeing the KPTA Bids for vehicles. -
The Secretary - Dan Lanham is the KPTA Secretary. The Secretary establishes a quorum for each meeting, keeps the minutes of the meetings of the Board of Directors, maintains a register of the members, their addresses, and such other records as is necessary to have concerning the affairs of KPTA. The Secretary is the custodian of the Corporate records and will see that all notices are duly given (when directed by the President) in accordance with the provisions of the by laws as required by law. In general the Secretary performs all duties incident to the office of Secretary and such other duties as from time to time may be assigned by the President or Board or Directors.
The Treasurer - Dan Lanham is the Treasurer of KPTA. The Treasurer shall have charge and custody of and be responsible for all funds and securities of KPTA and shall receive and give receipts for moneys due and payable to KPTA from any source whatsoever. The Treasurer shall deposit all such moneys in the name of KPTA in such banks, trust companies, or other depositories as approved by the Board. In general, the Treasurer will perform all the duties incident to the office of the Treasurer and such other duties as from time to time may be assigned by the President or by the Board of Directors.
